Exclusions apply: valid within the lower 48 states, and applies to ground shipping via standard small parcel services like UPS, FedEx, and USPS.
We do not offer free shipping to Military Forwarding Bases (APO, FPO or DPO addresses)
We do not ship big items to small P.O. Box Addresses (because it won't fit)
All orders that must ship LTL freight will have a flat shipping rate of $150.

SHIPPING STRATEGY

At Nomad Overland Adventures, we work with multiple freight solutions to provide the best option possible for your shipment. This often means the solution that best fits the circumstance evolves due to factors such as service and price in a seemingly short time span. We cannot be certain at the time of your order what that solution is, thus the commitment we make is that at the time of your order shipping and this decision is made, you will receive an electronic communication with the tracking number and solution provided.

FREIGHT SHIPPING NOTICE

In order for your product to arrive in good condition, Nomad Overland Adventures’s shipping department strives to assure your products are adequately packaged and secured when they leave our facility. Please be sure that when you receive your items you inspect for damages and notify us immediately should your product arrive damaged. Please take photos as they will be needed for Nomad Overland Adventures to file a claim with the freight company, if the damage is due to carrier handling.

Shipping

While we can ship to virtually any address in the world, the website is set up to ship to the continental U.S., Alaska and Hawaii. If you need an item shipped to a location outside of this area, please contact us. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

SHIPPING TERMS

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been able to maintain our order processing schedule, however there may still be delays in shipment transit as some shipping companies are still experiencing difficulties. Order processing time is usually no more than 3 business days. Thank you for your patience.

PLEASE INSPECT ALL DELIVERED PARTS FOR SHIPPING DAMAGE WITHIN 15 DAYS

Nomad Overland Adventures will make our best effort to get your products to you in a timely fashion. We ask that you, our customer, review your order within 15 days. Check to be sure all parts have arrived and are correct. Please help us to help you, should there be discrepancies, damaged, or missing parts. We want you to get your product installed as quickly as possible so you can enjoy your outdoor adventure. Issues not reported within 15 days of arrival date may not be eligible for refund or replacement.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, please contact us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.

PAYING DUTY AND/OR TAXES ON IMPORTED GOODS

Any item mailed to Canada may be subject to the Goods and Services Tax (GST) and/or duty. Unless specifically exempted, you must pay the 5% GST on items you import into Canada by mail. The CBSA calculates any duties owing based on the value of the goods in Canadian funds. The duty rates vary according to the type of goods you are importing and the country from which they came or were made in. Depending on the goods or their value, some other taxes may apply, such as excise duty or excise tax on luxury items. You do not have to pay the GST on the following goods that are imported into Canada by mail:

Goods worth $20-Canadian or less
Gifts from family members or friends who live abroad when the worth is CAN$60 or less

The Government of Canada has entered into agreements with certain provinces to collect the HST at a rate of 13 percent. If you live in a participating province, you will have to pay the HST instead of the GST.

LEAF SPRING SHIPPING NOTICE

Nomad Overland Adventure's carries leaf springs that are large products made from heavy-duty steel and do not ship in packaging. This is also true across the entire suspension industry. While Nomad Overland Adventure's shipping department does everything they can to ensure your leaf springs will arrive unscathed, it’s common for leaf springs to pick up a few scratches during shipping.

If you receive your leaf springs and they are scratched, that’s typical and does not affect the integrity or performance of the spring. Nomad Overland Adventure's leaf packs are dipped in corrosion-resistant heavy-duty black paint. If you have a few scratches, and they bother you, just apply a touch of flat or satin black spray paint and you’ll be good to go.

Sales Tax

As of October 15, 2022, Sales Tax at our physical location in Burien, WA, is 10.1%, and is not included in the displayed prices of items on the website. If you are ordering from outside of Washington State, every reasonable effort shall be made to estimate your local sales tax accurately. Please contact us if you have questions about sales tax collections.
